This Dell Inspiron 5625 laptop turns on with no picture and is stuck pulling 2.08 amps, which happened after a Windows update.

This laptop was mailed to our repair shop because we specialize exclusively in Dell and Alienware laptops.  This laptop was mailed to us for repair because it looks like it turns on when the power button is pressed but then does nothing.  When I checked it with my power meter, I found that the laptop was stuck, pulling 2.08 amps.  After a long diagnosing process, I find that the laptop has a corrupted BIOS from a failed Windows update.
